2017 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2017 Belo PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fifth season. It began on March 4, 2017 and ended April 1, 2017. The tournament adopted the all-to-play format to give playing time to every player in each team. The guest team, Kobe Shinwa Women's University, were the tournament champions; and the Cignal HD Spikers were the co-champions. The Filoil EcoOil Centre, formerly Filoil Flying V Centre, Filoil Flying V Arena and The Arena in San Juan, also known as the Entertainment and Recreational Arena of the People (initials taken after former mayor and president Joseph Estrada's nickname 'Erap'), is an indoor sporting arena located in Santolan Road Bonny Serrano Avenue, Corazon de Jesus, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Petron Tri-Activ Spikers
The Petron Blaze Spikers were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2020. After the cancellation of the 2020 season of the PSL due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the team took a leave of absence from the league and released all its players. The team was owned by Petron Corporation. The company's involvement in volleyball began in 2002 when it established the Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Tournament. Team history Petron became the first team to sweep a PSL tournament with a 13–0 record and claim the 2015 All-Filipino championship, its second consecutive PSL title. At their stint in the 2015 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship in Ha Nam, Vietnam, the team finished at 8th place with only one game won out of six matches played. Frances Molina
Frances Xinia Dionisio Molina (born September 23, 1994) is a Filipino volleyball player. She currently plays as an outside hitter for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League. She played with the Philippine Super Liga All-Stars in the 2016 FIVB Club World Championship. She is part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. Early life A native of Nueva Ecija, she was born (second to three siblings) to Araceli Harding (née Dionisio) and Pedro Molina with the former who later became estranged from the latter and married to an India-based to British engineering consultant. Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis (born December 13, 1987) is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". Jovelyn Gonzaga is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member and team captain of Central Philippine University volleyball team. She is currently a member of the Army Black Mamba Energy Lady Troopers in the Premier Volleyball League, in which she plays as an opposite hitter. Mylene Balan Paat (born April 5, 1994) is a Filipino professional volleyball player. She currently plays for Nakhon Ratchasima of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League.
