Mahesh Kothare
Mahesh Amber Kothare (Marathi pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [məɦeːʃ koʈʰaːɾe]; born 28 September 1953) is an Indian List of Marathi film actors, film actor, List of Indian film directors, director and producer of Marathi cinema, Marathi and Bollywood, Hindi films. He started his acting career as child artist. Kothare acted in well-known movies such as ''Raja Aur Runk'', ''Chhota Bhai'', Mere Lal, ''Mere Laal'', and Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani (1970 film), ''Ghar Ghar ki Kahani''. The well known Hindi song ''Tu Kitni Achhi Hain'' from the film ''Raja Aur Runk'' features Kothare as Master Mahesh. Considered a revolutionary figure in the Marathi film industry, he began his directorial career with the groundbreaking Dhoom Dhadaka, Dhum Dhadaka (List of Marathi films of 1985, 1985) and has since delivered many box office hits over a period of 20 years. Filmfare Marathi Awards
The Filmfare Marathi Awards are presented annually to both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Marathi film industry of India. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. During several years in 1990s, a live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences but was later discontinued due to unknown reasons. ''Mere Lal'' () is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Satyen Bose and produced by Jyotsna Sen. It is a remake of the Bengali film ''Badshah'', based on the story of Nihar Ranjan Gupta. The film stars Dev Kumar, Indrani Mukherjee and Mala Sinha. It focuses on a stone-hearted dacoit who, when thrust with the responsibility of bringing up a lost child he finds on a riverbank, mends his ways and becomes an honest wage-earner. Plot Badshah is a stone-hearted dacoit. One day he goes to rob a house, but the arrival of the police forces him to flee. He hides at a place where he finds a girl named Jamna kidnapped and tied; he rescues the girl, who works as a street dancer. Laxmikant Berde
Laxmikant Berde (26 October 1954 – 16 December 2004) was an Indian Marathi language film actor who appeared in several Marathi and Hindi movies. He was known for his highly energetic slapstick performances. Berde started his career as an employee in the production company Marathi Sahitya Sangh and then played supporting roles in a few Marathi stage plays. In 1983–84, he first became famous with the Marathi play ''Tur Tur''. Apart from Marathi movies, his comedy stage plays like ''Shantecha Karta Chalu Aahe'' and ''Bighadale Swargache Dwaar'' were also successful. ''Khabardaar'' is a 2005 Marathi comedy film produced and directed by Mahesh Kothare and starring Bharat Jadhav, Sanjay Narvekar, and Nirmiti Sawant. ''Zapatlela '' is a Marathi horror comedy movie, which was released on 14 April 1993. It was directed by Mahesh Kothare. It was inspired from the Don Mancini's 1988 Hollywood movie '' Child's Play''. ''Zapatlela 2'' () is a Marathi horror comedy movie, which was released in 3D on 7 June 2013. It is directed by Mahesh Kothare and is the sequel to ''Zapatlela'', released 20 years previously (in 1993). ''Zapatlela 2'' is the first Marathi film shot entirely with a 3D camera. Mahesh has stated that if the film did well, it would be dubbed into Hindi and a third movie in the series could be made. 3D Film
3D films are motion pictures made to give an illusion of three-dimensional solidity, usually with the help of special glasses worn by viewers. They have existed in some form since 1915, but had been largely relegated to a niche in the motion picture industry because of the costly hardware and processes required to produce and display a 3D film, and the lack of a standardized format for all segments of the entertainment business.
