National Film Award For Best Feature Film In Marathi
The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. It is one of several awards presented for feature films and awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus). The National Film Awards, established in 1954, are the most prominent film awards in India that merit the best of the Indian cinema. The ceremony also presents awards for films in various regional languages. Sachin Khedekar (born 14 May 1965) is an Indian actor and director known for his work in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Gujarati language films. Vijay Chavan
Vijay Chavan (2 May 1955 – 24 August 2018) was an Indian film, television and stage actor, notable for his work in Marathi cinema, Marathi and Hindi cinema. He was best known for his role of Mavshi in the famous Marathi Stage drama "Moruchi Mavshi". This comedy play was written by Pralhad Keshav Atre. He died on 24 August 2018 in Mumbai at the age of 63. Laxmikant Berde
Laxmikant Berde (26 October 1954 – 16 December 2004) was an Indian Marathi language film actor who appeared in several Marathi and Hindi movies. He was known for his highly energetic slapstick performances. Berde started his career as an employee in the production company Marathi Sahitya Sangh and then played supporting roles in a few Marathi stage plays. In 1983–84, he first became famous with the Marathi play ''Tur Tur''. Apart from Marathi movies, his comedy stage plays like ''Shantecha Karta Chalu Aahe'' and ''Bighadale Swargache Dwaar'' were also successful. ''Zapatlela '' is a Marathi horror comedy movie, which was released on 14 April 1993. It was directed by Mahesh Kothare. It was inspired from the Don Mancini's 1988 Hollywood movie '' Child's Play''. Ramdhari Singh (23 September 1908 – 24 April 1974), known by his pen name Dinkar, was an Indian Hindi and Maithili language poet, essayist, freedom fighter, patriot and academic.
