Magnus Persson (politician)
Lars Ola Magnus Persson (born 19 December 1970) is a Swedish politician who has been a member of the Riksdag for the Sweden Democrats party since 2014. He represents the Dalarna County (Riksdag constituency), Dalarna County constituency. Persson was born in 1970 and grew up in Ivetofta. He is a construction worker and was a member of the municipal council in Bromölla municipality for the SD from 2018 to 2020. He was elected to parliament during the 2014 Swedish general election. Following the 2022 Swedish general election, he was appointed to head the Committee on the Labour Market in the Riksdag, taking over the role from Anna Johansson (politician), Anna Johansson and becoming one of four Sweden Democrat politicians to chair a Riksdag committee. Ivetofta
Ivetofta is a village and a suburb of Bromölla, in Skåne County in southern Sweden. With a history going back to the 12th century, it was once a rural municipality in the former Kristianstad County. It lies on the eastern bank of Ivö Lake, between Ivö and the smaller lake Levrasjön. The Ivetofta Local Historical Society was founded in 1981 and as of 2013 has nearly 500 members. Geography The village is located between Ivösjön and Hanöbukten, and consists of the forested Ryssberget hill and sandy plains which are cultivated. The habitats are characterised as pine forest, deciduous forest, meadow, pasture, and grassy heath. History The name is first documented in 1319 as Ywätoffte. It stems from the old name Ivö Lake, Ivösjön, the Ivö Lake, and "toft" meaning farm. ''Anna'' Frida Wiktoria Johansson (born 29 May 1971) is a Swedes, Swedish politician of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democrats. She was the Minister for Infrastructure (Sweden), Minister for Infrastructure in the Swedish Government from 2014 to 2017. 2022 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 11 September 2022 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag who in turn elected the Prime Minister of Sweden. 2014 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 14 September 2014 to elect all 349 seats in the Riksdag, alongside elections for the 21 county councils, and 290 municipal assemblies. The centre-right Alliance for Sweden coalition (comprising the Moderate Party, Liberal People's Party, Centre Party, and Christian Democrats) sought a third term in government. Bromölla Municipality
Bromölla Municipality (''Bromölla kommun'') is a municipality in Skåne County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Bromölla. Bromölla was in 1967 reunited with Ivetofta (from which it had been detached as a market town in 1942). In 1974 ''Näsum'' was added and the municipality's present territory was defined. History The name Bromölla translates to "Bridge Mill", one or more mills used at least from the 17th to the 19th century, adjacent to a small river.
