Mafuang Weerapol
Mafuang Weerapol ( th, มะเฟือง วีรพล; is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter. Muay Thai career Mafuang started fighting in the Surin and Buriram provinces as child, he made his Lumpinee Stadium debut in 1973, winning by knockout. He had bad results in his following bouts and ended up going back to the provinces to compete. He made his return to Bangkok this time fighting out of the Lukmatulee camp. Between 1978 and 1982 Mafung was one of the most dominant bantamweight on the Bangkok stadium circuit. He was feared for his punching power which led him to hold the belts from both the Rajadamnern and Lumpinee Satadiums. His dominance saw him defend his belts multiple times and take on handicap fights. Mafuang faced Muay Thai legend Samart Payakaroon on June 9, 1981 at the Lumpinee Stadium. Paruehus Loh-ngern ( th, พฤหัส โล่ห์เงิน) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter who competed in the 1970s and early 1980s. Biography and career Early life Paruehus was born in 1956 in Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province, a northern suburb of Bangkok. Jomwo Sakniran
Jomwo Chernyim ( th, จอมโว เชิญยิ้ม) was a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Jomwo began to compete in the major Bangkok stadiums in the mid-1970s under the name Jomwo Lukkhaokwang. He fought for a Stadium title for the first time against Tawanook Sitpoonchai in 1977, losing the fight by decision. A year later he lost to Kingthong Sakornpitak in a fight for the vacant Rajadamnern Stadium Bantamweight 118 lbs title. He had another chance on June 5, 1980, but was knocked out by Mafuang Weerapol in the second round. Kongtoranee Payakaroon ( th, ก้องธรณี พยัคฆ์อรุณ; born July 12, 1960, in Chachoengsao) is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter and professional boxer. Payakaroon is the older brother of WBC and Lumpinee world champion Samart Payakroon. Phat Kongrum ( th, พัด คงรัมย์, born 7 September 1959) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and amateur boxer. He was a Rajadamnern Stadium champion and competed in the men's lightweight division at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
