Samransak Muangsurin ( th, สำราญศักดิ์ เมืองสุรินทร์; born 18 June 1959 in Buriram Province) is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter. He was a two times Lumpinee Stadium Featherweight champion and one of the most feared puncher of the Muay Thai golden era. Muay Thai career After beating Smaranthong Kiatbanchong by KO in Lumpinee Stadium on 7 April 1992, Samransak announced his retirement from competition. He since has been working as a Muay Thai trainer in various camps around Thailand and Japan. Cherry Sor Wanich ( th, เชอรี่ ส.วานิช; born May 30, 1969 in Khon Kaen) is a former Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Cherry started Muay Thai at the age of 12 fighting for various camps until the age of 17 when he joined the Sor wanich gym in Chonburi, he would spend the rest of his career there. He was a popular fighter of the Bangkok circuit with purses going as high as 250,000 THB. After his retirement Cherry spent time in Macau working as a bodyguard. Indoor Stadium Huamark
Indoor Stadium Huamark ( th, อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก, , ) is an indoor sporting arena, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The original capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and it was built in 1966 for the 5th Asian Games. After renovation for 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup, the capacity is reduced to 6,000 seats and expandable to 8,000 seats. It is used mainly for concerts, badminton, boxing, basketball, futsal, and volleyball. Saencherng Pinsinchai ( th, แสนเชิง ปิ่นสินชัย) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter. He was a five weight Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium champion during the 1980s. Biography & career Saencherng was born in 1967 in the Buriram province, he started training in Muay Thai along with his brothers. He fought from a young age in the northeastern regions of Thailand. In 1981 he was scouted by the Pinsinchai camp and went to live in Bangkok where he earned his ring name. Saencherng was one of the most dominant fighters of his time winning stadium titles at five different weights between 1983 and 1989. He faced and beat some of the most notable fighters of his era such as Paruhatlek Sitchunthong, Chamuekpet Hapalang, Chanchai Sor Tamarangsri Samransak Muangsurin, Manasak Sor Ploenchit and Jaroenthong Kiatbanchong. Panomtuanlek Hapalang ( th, พนมทวนเล็ก ห้าพลัง; born November 1, 1966 in Mueang Maha Sarakham) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. He is former 3 weight Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium champion, he was elected Fighter of the year in 1986. Biography and career Panomtuanlek started Muay Thai training with his Uncle and fought in his hometown with the ring name “Anusak Sor Pohpitak”. He caught the attention of Leng Sarakham, a celebrity in the Muay Thai community of Isan, he was transferred to his supervision and also spent time at the Saknipon gym. Chamuakpet Hapalang ( th, ฉมวกเพชร ห้าพลัง; born: August 10, 1962 in Amphoe Si Racha, Chonburi province, eastern Thailand) is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter who won five different weight classes, was champion of the Lumpinee Stadium and the Rajadamnern Stadium and was also a professional boxer. Chanchai Sor Tamarangsri ( th, ชาญชัย ส.ธรรมรังสี; born October 19, 1967 in Pak Chong) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Rajadamnern Stadium ( th, สนามมวยราชดำเนิน; ), also spelled ''Ratchadamnoen'', is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Along with Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Rajadamnern is one of the two main stadiums for modern muay Thai. It hosts fights every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. The stadium has its own ranking system and championship titles up to middleweight (160 lbs). History In 1941, the prime minister of Thailand, Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram, gave orders to build a national boxing stadium on Rajadamnern Avenue. Impresse Italiane All' Estero-Oriente won the construction rights, and the 258,900 baht project foundation stone was laid on 1 March 1941.
