Madeleine Hoover
Madeleine Hoover (born December 17, 1998), is an American women's International motorcycle trials rider. Hoover has been a member of the American Women's Trial des Nations team several times and was a NATC Women's Pro Class Champion. Biography Hoover was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, In 2013, Hoover won her first NATC Trials Championship. She won the opening two rounds in New York, then took a 2nd and a 1st place in Vermont. She won again in Arizona, and ended her season with a 2nd place and a win in New Mexico. She took the title without contesting the final two rounds. In 2014, Hoover took 1st place on the opening day in Colorado, and finished third on day 2. In Kansas, Hoover took the series lead with a win and a 2nd place. Hoover then won in Pennsylvania. At the final rounds in Tennessee, she won the championship title on the opening day with a win. She moved up to the Women's Expert Sportsman class on day two, taking a 3rd-place finish. FIM Trial World Championship
The FIM Trial World Championship and FIM X-Trial World Championship are the most prestigious motorcycle trials tournaments of the world, organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. The outdoor championship is held since 1964 and the indoor (X-Trial) since 1993. From 1964 to 1967 the championship was named Challenge Henry Groutards. From 1968 to 1974, it was the Trial European Championship, and from 1975 onwards it has been known as the World Championship. Up until 2010, the outdoor world trial championship has been won by 6 different pilots from the UK, 5 from Spain, 2 from Finland and France, and 1 from Belgium, Germany, United States, Japan and Sweden. FIM Trial European Championship
The FIM Trials European Championship is organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme and has been held since 1992. The championship gives up and coming riders a chance to compete at international level against top class riders, many who have progressed to become champions in the FIM Trial World Championship such as current champion Toni Bou and past champions Dougie Lampkin and Adam Raga History The Inaugural championship was held in 1992 with a single class format. In 1999 a women's class was added in part due to the addition of a women's class In the FIM Trial World Championship series the previous year. In 2004 a European Junior class was added, with many riders starting in the junior class before progressing through to the Pro class main series. The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. Gas Gas
Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona. The company specializes in off-road motorcycles for trials and enduro competitions. Gas Gas was purchased by KTM motorcycles in 2019. After the sale to KTM, Gas Gas's off-road models were purchased by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Rieju. Company history In 1973, Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat began operating a Bultaco motorcycle franchise in Salt. With the financial demise of the Bultaco factory in 1979, Casas and Pibernat began importing Italian SWM motorcycles until 1984 when, the manufacturer ceased operations. Casas and Pibernat then embarked on a programme to manufacture trial motorbikes for sale in their shop. Gas Gas began manufacturing trial motorcycles in 1985, enduro and motocross motorcycles in 1989, and quads in 2002.
