MBC The Voice
''The Voice: Ahla Sawt'' is the Arabic version of Dutch show '' The Voice of Holland'' created by John de Mol and produced by Talpa Media Group. The first season of MENA's version of ''The Voice'' debuted on 14 September 2012 and was broadcast worldwide from Beirut, Lebanon via MBC 1, a pan-Arabian television station. Through an agreement, the show was also simulcast via LBCI's channels. The first two season's main host was Egyptian actor Mohammad Kareem and Arwa Gouda. Nadine Wilson Njeim hosted from backstage. The format of ''The Voice: Ahla Sawt'' has three stages, which are the blind auditions, the battle rounds, and the live performances. In the blind auditions, each contestant will be allowed to sing for 90 seconds with each of the coaches having their backs to the singer. When a coach wants a singer on their team, the coach presses a red button that results in the chair being turned around to reveal who the singer is to that coach and the singer joining their team. Xriss Jor
Xriss Jor (first name pronounced ‘Chris’; born June 17, 1986) is a Lebanese singer and artist. Born and raised in Yahchouch, Mount Lebanon, Lebanon, she gained prominence after her appearance on the talent show '' The Voice: Ahla Sawt''. In 2012, Jor came in fourth but went on to win the Dubai Music Week in 2013 where she received a management contract from Quincy Jones. Kadim Al-Saher
Kadim Jabbar Al Samarai (born September 12, 1957), better known by his stage name Kadim Al Sahir ( ar, كاظم الساهر}), is an Iraqi singer and composer. He typically performs with an orchestra of twenty to thirty musicians on Arabic percussion, oud, qanun, nay, and a full complement of strings (violin, cello, and bass). While some of his work makes use of electronic musical sounds, he avoids the use of synthesizers to imitate acoustic instruments. The Voice Kids (Arabic TV Series)
''The Voice Kids: Ahla Sawt'' is an Arabic TV series airing on MBC 1 and MBC 3. It premiered on 2 January 2016. The three judges for the inaugural season were Tamer Hosny, Nancy Ajram and Kadim Al Sahir. There are four stages starting with the Blind Auditions. Contestants between the ages of 7 and 14 sing covers of already existing songs without being seen by the judges. If a coach likes the contestant's performance, they turn their chair. Each coach is allowed to have 15 contestants on their team. The season 1 finale was on 5 March 2016 and the winning contestant was Lynn Al-Hayek from Lebanon from Team Kathem Al-Saher. The season 2 finale was on 3 February 2018, and the winner was Hamza Lebyed from Morocco from Team Kathem Al-Saher. Simor Jalal ( ar, ; born July 27, 1983 in Baghdad, Iraq), is an Iraqi singer, composer, and musician. Career He entered the music department of the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1999 and completed his studies there in 2004.
