50 Moganshan Road () or "M50" is a contemporary art district in Shanghai, China, that houses a community of more than a hundred artists whose studios are open to the public. ShanghART Gallery
ShanghART Gallery is founded in 1996 by Swiss gallerist Lorenz Helbling as one of the first contemporary art galleries established in China. Initially operating out of a hotel, it has since expanded to four gallery spaces, two in Shanghai, and one each in Beijing and Singapore. Power Station Of Art
The Power Station of Art is a Contemporary art, contemporary art museum in Shanghai. Housed in a former power station, it is China's first state-run contemporary art museum. Converting the building cost $64 million which was paid for by the Shanghai government. The museum is on the site of the Expo 2010 and on the left bank of the Huangpu River. It opened in 2012 with an exhibition of contemporary art from Centre Pompidou, Paris's best-known contemporary art museum, entitled Electric Fields, Surrealism and Beyond. The director is Li Xu. The deputy director is Gong Yan, who was formerly the editor in chief of the Chinese-language magazine ''Art World.'' Yuz Museum Shanghai
The Yuz Museum Shanghai (Chinese: 余德耀美术馆) is a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the Yuz Foundation. It is located in the West Bund in Xuhui District, Shanghai. Yuz is reconstructed from the hangar of the original Longhua Airport and designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. Among the buildings with a total area of more than 9000 square meters, the main gallery alone accounts for more than 3000 square meters. Its enormous and unique structure perfectly complement the installations of YUZ collection. Since its establishment and opening on May 17, 2014, Yuz museum has become a new landmark of Shanghai. The Shanghai Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District, Shanghai, Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums and famous for its large collection of rare cultural pieces. History The museum was founded in 1952 and was first open to the public in the former Shanghai Racecourse club house, now at 325 West Nanjing Road. Island6 Arts Center () is an artist-run space and creative platform established in Shanghai, China. It was founded in 2006 by French curator/artist Thomas Charvériat. With three branches in Shanghai, one in Hong Kong and one in Thailand, Island6 aims to support "European and Chinese artists whose work is exhibited in a series of tightly curated group shows." Line 4 is a loop line of the Shanghai Metro network. Its older rolling stock carry a bright purple colour belt to differentiate them from Line 3 trains which share a portion of its route, while the newer stock features a yellow and purple livery, which the exact line is labelled using sticker or screens saying “Line 3” or “Line 4”.
