M-45 (Spain)
The M-45 is a highway bypass built in the Community of Madrid of regional importance. It begins at Exit 28-B of the M-40 highway, in Carabanchel, and ends at Coslada, where it joins with the M-50 . The highway connects two national highways , the A-2 and A-5 . Vicálvaro
Vicálvaro is a district in the southeast of Madrid, Spain. It is named after the former municipality absorbed into the municipality of Madrid in 1951. History When Spain's Civil Guard ( es, Guardia Civil) was established in 1844, the first headquarters of its cavalry was in Vicálvaro. Franco converted it into an artillery barracks for the Brunete Armored Division, Regiment No. 11. The building is now part of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Mejorada del Campo is a municipality of Spain belonging to the Community of Madrid. History Mejorada del Campo is first mentioned in a 1247 document, as one of the several places belonging to the personal lordship of the Bishops of Segovia south of the Sistema Central. Vallecas was a municipality of Spain that disappeared as such in 1950, when its annexation to the Municipality of Madrid was effectuated. Nowadays it is a large neighborhood of Madrid composed of two districts: Puente de Vallecas (population 240,917) and Villa de Vallecas (population 65,162). Ensanche de Vallecas is an administrative neighborhood of Madrid, belonging to the district of Villa de Vallecas.
