Living Proof (State Champs Album)
''Living Proof'' is the third studio album from American pop punk band State Champs. It is their last album to feature rhythm guitarist Tony Diaz before his departure in March 2020. Production Mike Green and Kyle Black produced "Criminal", "Frozen", "Crystal Ball", "Lightning", "Safe Haven", "The Fix Up", "Cut Through the Static", and "Sidelines". Green and Black were assisted by engineers Colin Schwanke and Will McCoy, both of whom also did Pro Tools editing. John Feldmann produced "Dead and Gone", "Our Time to Go", "Something About You", "Mine Is Gold", and "Time Machine". Zakk Cervini, Jon Lundin, and Matt Pauling served as engineers, and did additional production; Black co-produced "Time Machine", and did additional engineering on "Dead and Gone", "Mine Is Gold", and "Time Machine". State Champs
State Champs is an American pop punk band from Albany, New York, formed in 2010. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released three EPs and four full-length albums. They released an acoustic EP titled ''The Acoustic Things'' in October 2014 and their second full-length album '' Around the World and Back'' one year later, in October 2015. In May 2017, they released a deluxe version of their album '' Around the World and Back'', along with a DVD of footage from their last few tours. Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. Pure Noise Records
Pure Noise Records is an American punk rock record label based in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded by Jake Round in 2009 while he was an editor at '' AMP''; the previous fall, friends of his in the band No Bragging Rights told him they were looking for a new label, and Round expressed interest in releasing the album himself. Prior to this Round had a short stint as an intern at Fat Wreck Chords. While the label began as a home operation, and had only put out five albums by the end of 2010, by 2014 some of the label's roster were main-stage acts at Warped Tour, and others had sold nearly 50,000 copies of their albums. Overall, the label's catalog had sold over 280,000 records as of March 2014. Among the label's signings are Vanna and Hit the Lights. John Feldmann
John Feldmann (born June 29, 1967) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He serves as the lead singer/guitarist of the band Goldfinger. Early life Feldmann grew up in Saratoga, California. He started writing songs around the age of 13 or 14. Around that time, he met the band Social Distortion, and was inspired to be like them. Career Feldmann's first band was Saratoga-based Family Crisis. In 1988, he moved to Los Angeles, where he formed the band Electric Love Hogs and met future Goldfinger bassist Kelly LeMieux. The Electric Love Hogs (which also included Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver and Bobby Hewitt of Orgy) put out one album, their self-titled 1992 debut, which was co-produced by Tommy Lee. Feldmann formed Goldfinger in Los Angeles in 1994 after meeting original Goldfinger bassist Simon Williams in a shoe store where they were both working. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Ted has one brother, Rick, and two daughters, Kristen and Kim. Mark Hoppus
Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American musician, songwriter and record producer best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist for the rock band Blink-182, being the only constant member and the only one to appear on every album. He is also part of pop rock duo Simple Creatures with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth. Hoppus became interested in skateboarding and punk rock in junior high, and received a bass guitar from his father at the age of 15.
