Reagen Allen
Reagen Ivan Allen is a South African politician and previous comedian who has been the Western Cape Provincial Minister of Community Safety and Police Oversight since April 2022 and a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament for the Democratic Alliance (DA) since December 2018. Life and career Allen was born and grew up in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain on the Cape Flats in Cape Town. He initially began his career as a comedian. He won the Cape Town Comedy Club's 2018 #yourfunnycider competition. and was nominated for a Comics Choice Award 2019. Allen has obtained numerous qualifications in Public Relations and Paralegal Studies. He graduated from the DA's Young Leaders Programme in 2012. Brett Herron (politician)
Brett Norton Herron (born 14 November 1966) is a South African politician and attorney who has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since February 2022. He was a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from May 2019 until February 2022. Herron is the secretary-general of the GOOD party. He was the party's candidate for Mayor of Cape Town in the 2021 municipal elections. Formerly a member of the Democratic Alliance and the Independent Democrats, he served as a mayoral committee member for transport and urban settlements from 2011 to 2018. Bonginkosi Madikizela
Bonginkosi Success Madikizela (born 15 March 1975) is a South African politician. Born in Port Shepstone, in the province of Natal, Madikizela soon moved to Khayelitsha and became politically active in the area. He was a member of the African National Congress (ANC) and United Democratic Movement (UDM), prior to joining the Democratic Alliance (DA) in 2008. He was elected as a DA Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament in 2009. Premier Helen Zille appointed him as the Provincial Minister for Housing. In 2014, he was named Provincial Minister of Human Settlements. A year later, in 2015, Madikizela unseated party stalwart Theuns Botha as deputy provincial leader of the DA. Lorraine Juliette Botha (2 July 1965 – 31 August 2022) was a South African politician. A member of the Democratic Alliance, she was a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from 2014 up to her death. Botha served as the chief whip of the DA caucus from May 2022 until her death in August 2022. She was the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Education from 2019 until 2022. Lulama Lennox Mvimbi is a South African politician, party member of the African National Congress and a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since 22 May 2019. He was the Mayor of the Bitou Local Municipality for two nonconsecutive terms, from 1995 to 1998 and again from 2006 to 2011, respectively.
