Lee S. James
Lee Scott James (born 27 January 1973) is an English former professional golfer. Early life and amateur career James was born in Poole, Dorset. He won the 1994 Amateur Championship with a 2 & 1 victory over Gordon Sherry. Professional career James turned professional in 1995 after the Walker Cup, where he was part of the victories Great Britain and Ireland team. Having been unsuccessful at gaining a place on the European Tour via qualifying school, James began his professional career on the second tier Challenge Tour, picking up his first win at the 1996 Modena Classic Open. He finally graduated to the elite tour by finishing top of the 2002 Challenge Tour Rankings, with three wins during the season. Poole
Poole () is a large coastal town and seaport in Dorset, on the south coast of England. The town is east of Dorchester and adjoins Bournemouth to the east. Titch Moore
Trevor Richard "Titch" Moore (born 18 February 1976) is a South African professional golfer. He currently plays on the Sunshine Tour, where he has won seven times between 2000 and 2007. Moore was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He turned pro in 1997 and joined the Sunshine Tour in that same year. His best finish on the Order of Merit for the Sunshine Tour came in the 2004–05 season where he finished 4th. European Boys' Team Championship
The European Boys' Team Championship (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy) is a European amateur team golf championship for men up to 18 organized by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1980 and it has been played annually since. Since the European Youths' Team Championship, for men under 22, was discontinued in 2006, due to the trend of players reaching elite level at an earlier age, the European Boys' Team Championship has been regarded as the most important junior team event in Europe outside the British Isles. The Open Championship
The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. Northern Open
The Northern Open is a golf tournament played annually in Scotland since 1931. For some years it was one of only two 72-hole tournaments on the "Tartan Tour", the PGA Tour in Scotland's schedule, the other being the Scottish PGA Championship, but since 2019 the event has been played over 36 holes. The Scottish PGA Championship was originally called the Scottish Professional Championship and was only open to professionals while the Northern Open was also open to amateurs. Carlos del Moral Barilari (born 30 August 1985) is a Spanish professional golfer. Amateur and early professional career Born in Valencia, he was a successful junior, winning the Carris Trophy and the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy before taking up a scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, where he played on the golf team alongside Anthony Kim. The 2006 Challenge Tour was the 18th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. Florian Fritsch
Florian Fritsch (born 29 October 1985) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. Career Fritsch was born in Munich, Germany, and attended the University of South Carolina in the United States, graduating in 2008. He turned professional in early 2009, and almost became the third golfer, after countryman Martin Kaymer, and Italian Edoardo Molinari, ever to win on their Challenge Tour début, when he lost to Lee S. James in a playoff for the Allianz Open Côtes d'Armor Bretagne. In 2010, he quit professional golf because of a fear of flying that developed through the years after a flight where he experienced huge clear-air turbulences.
