Lalitha Sree
Lalithasree (born 30 October 1957) is an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She has acted in more than 450 films. She acts mainly in supporting roles. She is known for her comedy roles with Jagathy Sreekumar. Personal life Lalithasree was born as Subhadra to Chandrasekharan Nair and Lakshmikuttiamma at Kottayam, Kerala. She has an elder sister, Mallika and a younger brother, Vidyasagar. Her father was from Kottayam and her mother was from Palakkad. Her father, who was a doctor, shifted to Vijayawada and the family settled there. She was studying at the seventh grade when her father died. They migrated to Madras after her father's death. She made her debut at the age of 15 in the Tamil movie ''Unarchigal''. Kottayam (), is one of 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala. Kottayam district comprises six municipal towns: Kottayam, Changanassery, Pala, Erattupetta, Ettumanoor, and Vaikom. It is the only district in Kerala that neither borders the Arabian Sea nor any other states. ''Shyama'' is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language romantic thriller film produced by Joy Thomas under Jubilee Productions, directed by Joshiy and written by Dennis Joseph. It stars Mammootty and Nadia Moidu in the lead roles. The film was remade in Tamil as '' Unakkaagavee Vaazhgiren''. It is partially inspired by Gulzar's ''Kinara''. Plot Viswanathan (Mammootty), a famous filmmaker, is haunted by the death of his wife (Sumalatha) and a young man (Mukesh) whom he accidentally hit while driving. Later he meets Shyama ( Nadia Moidu), the daughter of his friend, still struggling with the death of her boyfriend, the man whom Viswanathan had killed. A mangala sutra (), or thaali (ISO: ''tāḷi''), is a necklace that the groom ties around the bride's neck in the Indian subcontinent, in a ceremony called ''Mangalya Dharanam'' ().
