Chakkikotha Chankaran
''Chakkikotha Chankaran'' is 1989 Malayalam comedy film, made in India, starring Jayaram and Urvashi. The movie is heavily inspired by the 1987 Tamil movie ''Enga Veettu Ramayanam''. The movie was remade in Kannada as '' Mana Mecchida Sose''. It went on to inspire the plot of the 2012 Punjabi movie ''Carry On Jatta''. Plot The movie starts with Pradeep (Jayaram) enjoying a cricket match. Raghavan Thampi (Thilakan) and his wife Subhadra (Sukumari) are looking for brides for their sons Prabhakaran (Nedumudi Venu) and Pradeep as an astrologer tells them that they need to have a grandchild quickly or else one of them will die. Prabhakaran is aspiring to become a great Mridangam player, against the wishes of his family, while Pradeep is a bank employee. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. Sankaradi
Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Bobby Kottarakkara
Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''. He also acted in several TV serials. It was during the filming of ''Vakkalathu Narayanankutty'' that Bobby died of a massive heart attack in December 2000.
