Løgstør Municipality
A former municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland Peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality, including the island of Livø, covered an area of , and had a total population of 10,270 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Lauritzen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. A bridge connects the former municipality near Tolstrup to the town of Aggersund on the far side of the Agger Strait. The island of Livø lies off the former municipality's western shores, and is partially a protected nature reserve. On 1 January 2007, Løgstør municipality ceased to exist as a result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). Limfjord
The Limfjord (Danish language, common Danish: ''Limfjorden'' , in north Jutlandish dialect: ''Æ Limfjord'') is a shallow part of the sea, located in Denmark where it has been regarded as a fjord ever since Viking Age, Viking times. However, it now has inlets both from the North Sea and Kattegat, and hence separates the Vendsyssel-Thy, North Jutlandic Island (Danish: ''Nørrejyske Ø'', which includes the old provinces of ''Vendsyssel'', ''Han herred'' and ''Thy'') from the rest of the Jutland Peninsula. Aggersund
Aggersund is a village in northern Denmark with a population of 290 (2022). The village is a part of Vesthimmerland Municipality in the North Jutland Region. Evidence of settlement in Aggersund dates back to the stone age, and the village contains one of the oldest viking fortresses in Denmark, Aggersborg. Much of the village's modern growth is associated with the commerce brought by the village's bridge. The Aggersund bridge ( da, Aggersundbroen) was once one of few crossings on the Limfjord. Vesthimmerland Municipality or Vesthimmerlandøs Municipality is a municipality ( da, kommune) in the North Jutland Region in Denmark. It covers an area of 768,08 km² (2013) and has a total population of 38,277 inhabitants (2008). Before the ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007), Aalestrup municipality was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Viborg County on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 176 km2, and had a total population of 7,631 (2005). Its latest mayor was Rigmor Sandborg. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Aalestrup. Farsø
Farsø is a town with a population of 3,349 (1 January 2022) in Region Nordjylland in Denmark in the Vesthimmerland Municipality. Farsø was the birthplace of Johannes Vilhelm Jensen, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1944. The village of Vognsild is located to the west of Farsø. Farsø is also called one of the head cities of Vesthimmerland Municipality along with Aars, Løgstør and Aalestrup.
