Luoyang Subway
Luoyang Subway () is a metro network serving urban and suburban districts of Luoyang. It is the second metro system in Henan Province, as well as the first metro system in a city that is not a provincial capital in central and western China. Lines Line 1 Line 1 is a west–east line from Hongshan station to Yangwan station. It began construction in June 2017. It was opened on 28 March 2021. Line 1 is in length with 19 stations. Line 2 Line 2 is a north–south line from Erqiao Road station to Balitang station. It began construction in December 2017. It connects both Luoyang railway station and Luoyang Longmen railway station. The first phase of Line 2 is in length with 15 stations. The line opened on December 26, 2021. Luoyang is a city located in the confluence area of Luo River (Henan), Luo River and Yellow River in the west of Henan province. Luoyang Railway Station
Luoyang railway station () is a station on Longhai railway in Luoyang, Henan. History The station was opened in 1912 as Jinguyuan railway station () on Luoyang-Tongguan railway, which commenced construction in 1910. The station was expanded during 1957-1958 and was renamed to its current name on 1 January 1959. The current station building was finished and opened in 1992, together with a high clock tower.
