Luo (surname)
Luo or Lo refers to the Mandarin romanizations of the Chinese surnames 羅 (Simplified Chinese: 罗, pinyin: Luó, Jyutping: Lo4) and 駱 (Simplified Chinese: 骆, pinyin: Luò, Jyutping: Lok3). Of the two surnames, wikt:罗 is much more common among Chinese people. According to the Cantonese pronunciation, it can also refer to 盧. In Cantonese, 罗/羅 is usually romanized as Lo and Law. Lo Chih-en (; born 28 December 1988) is a Taiwanese football player. He comes from Atayal tribe. On 17 June 2007, Lo made his debut for Chinese Taipei in the game against Guam of East Asian Cup 2008 preliminary competition, in which he scored 4 goals to help Chinese Taipei's 10-0 victory. Lo Chih-chiang () is Taiwanese politician and a member of the Kuomintang (KMT). From 2010 to 2013, he was first the spokesperson and then the Deputy Secretary-General of the President of the Republic of China, ROC Presidential Office. Chia-Jen Lo (born 7 April 1986), is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. Andrew Wen-Chuan Lo () (born 1960) is the Charles E. and Susan T. Harris Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
