Luke Thomas (born August 5, 1979) is an American combat sport analyst. As of October 2020 Thomas works for CBS Sports. Between 2007-2019 Thomas worked as an MMA journalist and radio host. Early life Thomas was born in 1979 in the Republic of India, to an American foreign service officer father and a Syrian of Armenian descent mother who lived in Lebanon. Thomas mostly grew up in Washington, D.C., but lived in Marietta, Georgia for two years, graduating from Marietta High School. He graduated from The College of William & Mary. Between 1998–2005 he served in ''Battery H'' of the 3rd Battalion 14th Marines in Richmond, Virginia, reaching the rank of sergeant. While in college he started training in Judo, and while serving in the military he participated in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Luke Jonathan Thomas (born 10 June 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back or left wing-back for Premier League club Sheffield United, on loan from club Leicester City. Club career Thomas was born in Syston, Leicestershire and joined the Leicester City Academy in 2008 from local club Riverside FC. He made his professional debut in a 2–0 Premier League win against Sheffield United on 16 July 2020. Luke Gerald Michael Thomas (born 19 February 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Bristol Rovers Thomas began his career with Cheltenham Town, before later playing for Derby County & Barnsley. The Pictures
The Pictures are an Australian rock band based in Melbourne, Victoria. They were founded in 2000 as a side-project by Davey Lane, the lead guitarist of Australian alternative rock band You Am I. In their initial run, The Pictures released three studio albums, as well as three EPs. The Pictures debut album, ''Pieces of Eight'', was recorded in February 2005 at Sing Sing Studios, Melbourne. For that album, with Lane, on lead vocals and guitar, were Luke Thomas on vocals and bass guitar and Johnny T on vocals and drums. In June the album peaked at No. 7 on the ARIA Hitseekers Albums Chart. Their debut single, "Pissin' with the Catman", reached the top 100 in May 2005 on the related ARIA Singles Chart. Its follow-up, "I Don't Care", peaked at No. 37 in September.
