Lujiazui
Lujiazui, also known under its Shanghainese name Lohkatse (, , lit. meaning "[The] Lu (surname 陸), Lu family's mouth"), is a locality in Shanghai, a peninsula formed by a bend in the Huangpu River. Since the early 1990s, Lujiazui has been developed specifically as a new financial district of Shanghai. The decision to earmark Lujiazui for this purpose reflects its location: it is located on the east side of the Huangpu River in Pudong, and sits directly across the river from the old financial and business district of the Bund. Lujiazui is a national-level development zone designated by the government. In 2005, the State Council of the People's Republic of China, State Council reaffirmed the positioning of the Lujiazui area as the only finance and trade zone among the 185 state-level development zones in mainland China. Lujiazui (Shanghai Metro)
Lujiazui () is a station on Line 2 and 14 of the Shanghai Metro rapid transit system, situated in the middle of the financial district of Lujiazui. This station is the first stop in Pudong going east towards Pudong International Airport, and is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from to that opened on 20 September 1999. The station later became an interchange on 30 December 2021 after the opening of Line 14. Being at the centre of Lujiazui, the station is of significance to the area. Shanghai International Finance Center, usually abbreviated as Shanghai IFC, is a commercial building complex and a shopping center (branded Shanghai IFC mall was officially opened to public on 28 April 2010) located at 8 Century Avenue, Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, China. The Jin Mao Tower (; Shanghainese:'' Cinmeu Dagho''; lit. ‘Golden Prosperity Building’), also known as the or , is a , 88-story (93 if counting the floors in the spire) landmark skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, China. Oriental Pearl Tower
The Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower () is a TV tower in Shanghai. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, makes it a distinct landmark in the area.
