Luís Guillermo Peréz (born 10 December 1962) is a Colombian human rights lawyer who is currently serving as the General Secretary for the Americas for the International Federation for Human Rights. He has represented the Americas at the FIDH since 2004 and in May 2013 announced his candidacy to stand for the FIDH's presidency. He is a lawyer with the José Alvear Restrepo Lawyer's Collective and sits on its general assembly. Early life and education Peréz was born in Líbano in the Tolima department of Colombia's Andean Region. Luis Francisco Perez (born August 26, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Arlington Renegades of the XFL (2020), XFL. He played college football at Texas A&M University–Commerce from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, he played junior college football at Southwestern College (California), Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California. He was awarded the Harlon Hill Trophy in 2017 as the best football player in NCAA Division II and led the Lions to their second national championship in football during the 2017 season, their first since 1972. Luis Pérez Rodríguez (born 16 June 1974 in Torrelaguna, Spain) is retired road racing cyclist. He competed professionally between 1995 and 2007, and last rode for the Andalucía–CajaSur team. During his career, Pérez scored two stage wins in Grand Tour events, both in the Vuelta a España. Luis Pérez Companc (born 2 January 1972 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a rally and racing driver. He competed at the World Rally Championship from 2001 to 2008, claiming a fifth place at the 2007 Rally Japan, a sixth at the 2004 Rally Argentina, and seventh at the 2006 Rally New Zealand. In 2007 he founded the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team. Luís Alonso Pérez, also known as Lula (1 March 1922 – 15 June 1972), was a Brazilian football manager, notably managing Santos from 1954 to 1966. Lula is known as one of the most successful Brazilian football managers. Career Born in Santos, São Paulo, Lula worked as a taxicab, a baker and a milkman. He started to work as a manager with amateur clubs in his hometown, Palmeirinha and Americana. He subsequently joined Portuguesa Santista, in charge of the club's youth setup.
