Luis Medina Cantalejo
Luis Medina Cantalejo (born 1 March 1964) is a Spanish former football referee. He was one of the few officials allowed to officiate the domestic clashes between Real Madrid and Barcelona. His first experience as an international referee came on 4 September 2004, between Turkey and Georgia, in a preliminary qualifier for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Career On 21 August 2005, Cantalejo referred the Russian Premier League match between CSKA Moscow and Zenit St.Petersburg. He was selected to officiate the playoff between Uruguay and Australia for the final spot in the World Cup on 16 November 2005. Horacio Marcelo Elizondo (born November 4, 1963 in Don Bosco, district of Quilmes) is an Argentine former international football referee best known for his officiation throughout the 2006 FIFA World Cup. 2006 FIFA World Cup Final
The 2006 FIFA World Cup Final was a football match that took place on 9 July 2006 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany, to determine the winner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The match was contested between Italy and France. Italy won the World Cup after beating France 5–3 in a penalty shoot-out following a 1–1 draw at the conclusion of extra time. The match was focused mostly on France's Zinedine Zidane and Italy's Marco Materazzi: this was the former's last match for France, both were scorers in the final, and they were also involved in an incident in extra time that led to Zidane being sent off for headbutting Materazzi in the chest. Fabio Grosso (; born 28 November 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer and current manager of Frosinone Calcio.
