Luigi Cennamo
Luigi Cennamo (born February 7, 1980) is a retired German-born Greek-Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career He started his career in Olympiakos as part of the first team in 1997. He was brought to Burnley by Stan Ternent as one of three Greeks to sign for the Clarets along with goalkeeper Nikolaos Michopoulos and centre-forward Dimitrios Papadopoulos. Cennamo is half Greek/half Italian, but just to confuse matters even further he'd been born in 1980 in Munich in Southern Germany. He signed from Olympiakos on an initial six-month deal, the 21-year-old would be understudy to Nikolaos Michopoulos but was expected to offer genuine competition for the first team role. On first team days he was always named on the bench as the substitute keeper, and in December was almost called upon at Preston when it looked as though Michopoulos would be sent off. Dimitris Papadopoulos (football)
Dimitrios Papadopoulos ( el, Δημήτριος Παπαδόπουλος; born 20 October 1981 in Uzbekistan, Jizzakh region, Mirzachul district) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Akratitos Papadopoulos started his career from the youth academies of Greek minnows Akratitos, and made his debut in 1999, contributing to the team's promotion to Alfa Ethniki in 2001 for the first time in its history. Nikolaos Michopoulos
Nikolaos "Nikos" Michopoulos ( el, Νικόλαος "Νίκος" Μιχόπουλος; born 20 February 1970) is a former Greek professional football player. During his career he played for PAOK Thesaloniki and Burnley, and a short period to Crystal Palace and Omonia Nicosia. He played as a goalkeeper and was known for his reactions and shot-stopping ability. Michopoulos began his career at Apollon Larissa. In 1992 he joined PAOK Thessaloniki, and made over 187 appearances for the Greek team, earning himself 15 international caps for Greece in the process. Stan Ternent
Francis Stanley Ternent (born 16 June 1946) is an English former footballer and manager. He managed Blackpool, Hull City, Bury, Burnley, Gillingham and Huddersfield Town. He was a scout for Hull City until January 2017. As a manager, he won three promotions between 1996 and 2000, including two in succession (from Division Three to Division One) with Bury. The other came with Burnley in 1999–2000. Playing career Born in Gateshead, Ternent signed as an apprentice for Burnley FC, after being spotted by Jack Hixon, the legendary " Scout " who recognised the early talents of Ralph Coates, Trevor Stephen, Steve Bruce and Alan Shearer, amongst others.
