Lucy Fallon
Lucy Fallon (born 13 November 1995) is an English actress. She played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' (2015–2020). The role has earned her widespread recognition and several accolades, including two British Soap Awards, an ''Inside Soap'' Award, and a National Television Award. Early life Fallon was born on 13 November 1995 in Blackpool, Lancashire, to engineer Andrew Fallon and accountant Angela Fallon. She has two older sisters, Rachel and Laura. She grew up in Cleveleys, Lancashire. She was born on-screen during the episode broadcast on 2 February 1987. Grand Theatre, Blackpool
Blackpool Grand Theatre is a theatre in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. Since 2006, it has also been known as the National Theatre of Variety. It is a Grade II* Listed Building. History The Grand was designed by Victorian theatre architect Frank Matcham and was opened in 1894 after a construction period of seven months, at a cost of £20,000 between December 1893 and July 1894. The project was conceived and financed by local theatre manager Thomas Sergenson who had been using the site of the Grand for several years to stage a circus. North Pier, Blackpool
North Pier is the most northerly of the three coastal piers in Blackpool, England. Built in the 1860s, it is also the oldest and longest of the three. Although originally intended only as a promenade, competition forced the pier to widen its attractions to include theatres and bars. Unlike Blackpool's other piers, which attracted the working classes with open air dancing and amusements, North Pier catered for the " better-class" market, with orchestra concerts and respectable comedians. Until 2011, it was the only Blackpool pier that consistently charged admission. The pier is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building, due to its status as the oldest surviving pier created by Eugenius Birch.
