Lu Xinjian
Lu Xinjian (or Xinjian Lu) is a Chinese born contemporary artist known for producing paintings, sculpture, graphic art and design. Life and work Lu was born in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, China in 1977. He majored in computer graphic design and graduated from the Nanjing Arts Institute in 2000. He studied Interior and Industrial Design at the Postgraduate Department at the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2005 and received his MFA from the Interactive Media and Environment Department at the Frank Mohr Institute at Hanze University, The Netherlands in 2006. His exposure to Dutch artists of the Zero (art) and De Stijl movements and the museums while studying in The Netherlands influenced the visual aesthetic one can observe in his work today. Design Academy Eindhoven is an interdisciplinary educational institute for art, architecture and design in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The work of its faculty and alumni have brought it international recognition, and is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading design schools. ''De Stijl'' (; ), Dutch for "The Style", also known as Neoplasticism, was a Dutch art movement founded in 1917 in Leiden. De Stijl consisted of artists and architects. In a more narrow sense, the term ''De Stijl'' is used to refer to a body of work from 1917 to 1931 founded in the Netherlands. Mustafa Hulusi (born in 1971, London, United Kingdom) is a British artist. His work is diverse and includes fields such as paintings, videos, installation and photography. Biography Hulusi was born in London to a Turkish Cypriot family. After graduating from Fine Art and Critical Studies at Goldsmiths College, Hulusi continued towards his master's degree at the Royal College of Art. Mark Titchner
Mark Titchner (born 1973) is an English artist, and 2006 nominee for the Turner Prize. He lives and works in London. Focusing on an exploration of words and language, in recent years much of his production has been based in the public realm both in the UK and internationally. These public works have often been created from extended group activities. Early life Titchner was born in Luton and grew up in the adjacent town of Dunstable. Fabien Fryns is a Belgian art dealer and collector, residing in Beijing since 2004. He has worked in the art world since 1986, specializing in contemporary Chinese art since 2000.
