''Lovescape'' is the nineteenth studio album by the American singer Neil Diamond. Released in 1991, it peaked at number 44 on the ''Billboard'' 200. "Hooked on the Memory of You" was a duet with Kim Carnes, while "Don't Turn Around" was co-written by Diane Warren. It is the last album, till '' 12 Songs,'' to credit him with playing guitar, but he may have possibly contributed some uncredited guitar work on previous or subsequent albums. Kim Carnes
Kim Carnes (; born July 20, 1945) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she began her career as a songwriter in the 1960s, writing for other artists while performing in local clubs and working as a session background singer with the famed Waters sisters (featured in the documentary '' 20 Feet from Stardom''). After she signed her first publishing deal with Jimmy Bowen, she released her debut album ''Rest on Me'' in 1971. Carnes' self-titled second album primarily contained self-penned songs, including her first charting single "You're a Part of Me", which reached No. 35 on the ''Billboard'' Adult Contemporary chart in 1975. In the following year, Carnes released '' Sailin''', which featured "Love Comes from Unexpected Places". David Richard Campbell (born 7 February 1948) is a Canadian-American arranger, composer, and conductor. He has worked on over 450 gold and platinum albums by artists of a wide range of genres, including Rush, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Muse, Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Evanescence, Beyoncé, Aerosmith, Garth Brooks, and various albums by his son Beck. "One Hand, One Heart" is a song from the musical ''West Side Story'' by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim. It is a duet sung between Maria and Tony while they have a make-believe wedding, as seen in the stage version and 1961 film, while in the 2021 film, they sing it as they pledge their love to one another inside a church at The Cloisters as part of their date. Peter Asher, (born 22 June 1944) is an English guitarist, singer, manager and record producer. "Don't Turn Around" is a popular song written by Albert Hammond and Diane Warren. It was originally recorded by Tina Turner as the B-side to the single " Typical Male" in 1986. It has since been included on the rarities disc of the 1994 compilation '' The Collected Recordings – Sixties to Nineties'', as well as featuring in the ''Tina'' musical since 2018.
