Lotte World Premium Tower
The Lotte World Tower () is a 123-story Megatall skyscraper located in Sincheon-dong, Songpa, Seoul, South Korea. It opened to the public on April 3, 2017, and is currently the tallest building in South Korea and the sixth tallest in the world. History After 13 years of planning and site preparation, the tower gained final approval to start construction by the government in November 2010 and the first groundbreaking activities of piling and frame assembly were observed at the construction site in March. On New Year Eve of 2016, the LED-pixels of the facade displayed the number "2016". On April 3, 2017, Lotte shot off fireworks to celebrate the tower's official opening. Lotte World Mall () is a shopping complex in the Songpa District of Seoul, South Korea. First opened in October 2014, it includes the Lotte World Tower, the Lotte World Mall building, and the Avenue L building. Lotte World is a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea. It consists of the world's largest indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park called "Magic Island", an artificial island inside a lake linked by monorail, shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theaters. The Busan Lotte Town Tower, also known as Busan Lotte World Tower (Hangul: 부산 롯데 타운 타워) is a 108-floor, supertall skyscraper on hold in Busan, South Korea. The tower is planned on a site next to Nampo-dong station on Busan Subway Line 1 . The tower is the centerpiece of the new Busan Lotte Town and construction is being carried out in four phases. The first phase includes a department store, completed in 2009. The second phase, an addition to the department store, was completed in 2010. The third phase will be a market and a cinema, which was completed in 2014, and the last phase will include a luxury hotel, an observation deck, offices, and cultural facilities in a 107-story skyscraper.
