Live Line
''Live Line'' is double live album by Australian hard rock band The Angels originally released in December 1987. It reached No. 3 in Australia and No.14 in New Zealand. Description The collection spanned ten years of the band's career. The majority of the album was recorded at the Bankstown RSL Club in Sydney, with some tracks taken from earlier tours featuring John Brewster. A live version of "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again" was issued as a single, as was a medley of "Love Takes Care" and "Be with You". Following the success of the album, The Angels embarked on a massive tour of Australia with a lengthy three-hour show, with three sets chronologically spanning a significant portion of the band's history. The remastered CD version was released on 8 February 1999 by Shock Records as a double live album and included several songs not included on the vinyl release. The Angels are an Australian rock band which formed in Adelaide in 1974 as The Keystone Angels by Bernard "Doc" Neeson on lead vocals and bass guitar, John Brewster on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, his brother Rick Brewster on lead guitar and backing vocals, Peter "Charlie" King on drums. In 1976, King was replaced by Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup on drums, Chris Bailey took over bass duties so Neeson could focus solely on vocals, and they changed their name to just 'The Angels'. Their studio albums peaking within the Australian top 10 are ''No Exit'' (1979), ''Dark Room'' (1980), '' Night Attack'' (1981), ''Two Minute Warning'' (1984), ''Howling'' (1986) and ''Beyond Salvation'' (1990). The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. St Ives is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia 18 kilometres north of the Sydney Central Business District in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council. Bill Price (record Producer)
Bill Price (3 September 1944 โ 22 December 2016) was an English record producer and audio engineer who worked with The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Guns N' Roses, Sparks, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Nymphs, The Waterboys, Mott the Hoople and Simon Townshend (Pete Townshend's younger brother). He was chief engineer on the first three solo albums by Pete Townshend, including ''Empty Glass'' and '' White City: A Novel''. He contributed to documentaries about The Clash such as ''Westway To The World''. Price started his engineering career in the mid-1960s when he was an engineer at Decca Studios in West Hampstead, recording artists such as Tom Jones. Brent Eccles
Brent Eccles is best known as the drummer for The Angels, an Australian pub rock band. He has also drummed in: The Breed, Vox Pop, Stuart & The Belmonts, Streetalk, Space Waltz, After Hours, and Citizen Band. Robert F. Spencer (born 5 September 1957) is an Australian rock guitarist. He was a latter day member of Skyhooks (1977โ1980) and the Angels (1986โ1992). Spencer joined Rose Tattoo in 2017. Bernard Patrick "Doc" Neeson OAM (4 January 1947 โ 4 June 2014) was an Australian singer-songwriter and musician. He was the front man for the hard rock band The Angels from its formation in February 1976 through to 1999. The band then split up and reformed in 2008 after a lengthy legal battle where Doc resumed his place as front man. Take A Long Line
"Take a Long Line" is a song by Australian hard rock group the Angels, released in July 1978 as the second single from their second album, '' Face to Face''. The song peaked at number 29 on the Australian Kent Music Report. In January 2018, as part of Triple M's "Ozzest 100", the 'most Australian' songs of all time, "Take a Long Line" was ranked number 35. The song was largely written by band member Rick Brewster. In a 2018 interview with his brother and fellow band mate, John Brewster, on ABC Radio 774 in Melbourne, he said that many of the lyrics in the song were inspired by characters his brother had encountered on the streets of Kings Cross in Sydney. The year of its release (1978), The Angels supported both Meat Loaf and David Bowie on their respective tours of Australia.
