Armenians
Armenians ( hy, հայեր, ''hayer'' ) are an ethnic group native to the Armenian highlands of Western Asia. Armenians constitute the main population of Armenia and the ''de facto'' independent Artsakh. There is a wide-ranging diaspora of around five million people of full or partial Armenian ancestry living outside modern Armenia. The largest Armenian populations today exist in Russia, the United States, France, Georgia, Iran, Germany, Ukraine, Lebanon, Brazil, and Syria. With the exceptions of Iran and the former Soviet states, the present-day Armenian diaspora was formed mainly as a result of the Armenian genocide. Richard G. Pierre Chammassian
Pierre Chammassian (born in Bourj Hammoud on 9 March 1949, Beirut, Lebanon) is a Lebanese- Armenian comedian, actor and stand-up comic, popular in Lebanon with Arabs and Armenians, as well as in the Armenian Diaspora. Career Chammassian regularly tours wherever Armenian and Lebanese communities exist. Along with André Jadaa, Michel and Jean-Pierre Chikhani, Chammassian was responsible for reviving the Le Théâtre de Dix-Heures in Lebanon. He is a follower of the Armenian Catholic Church, and is an Armenian Revolutionary Federation supporter. Chammassian has had many roles over the course of his career, but is best known for his character Batal Shvaradzian, who has featured in four plays to date: Shad Mi Kharner, Batal Dan Pesa, Portzank Batal, Chellalik Batal, hamartsag hasmige ou batale and yerespokhan batale 2019. Edwin Haig Alberian (January 21, 1920March 31, 1997) was a stage and television actor and entertainer who began his career in off-Broadway and Broadway productions, and moved into the nascent television industry, where his work was oriented to children's programming and clowning. Alberian played the Clarabell the Clown for public appearances and on the television show ''Howdy Doody'' appeared as Professor Gusbags, as well other characters such as Doaky the Clown, on ''Let's Have Fun'' and ''The Beachcomber Bill Show''. ''Iron Chef America'' is an American cooking show based on Fuji Television's ''Iron Chef'', and is the second American adaptation of the series, following the failed ''Iron Chef USA'' that aired in 2001. The show is produced by Food Network, which also carried a dubbed version of the original ''Iron Chef''. Like the original Japanese program, the program is a culinary game show. In each episode, a new challenger chef competes against one of the resident "Iron Chefs" in a one-hour cooking competition based on a secret ingredient or ingredients, and sometimes theme. George Duran (born January 13, 1975) is an Armenian-American chef and entertainer who is currently a spokesman in commercials for Hunt's tomatoes. He also became host of TLC's ''Ultimate Cake Off'' in its second season. Biography Duran was born George Kevork Guldalian in Caracas, Venezuela, to parents of Armenian descent originating from Lebanon. They later immigrated to the United States where they became naturalized Americans. Duran attended New York University, majoring in Communications Studies.
