Nadia Tromp
Nadia Tromp (born 31 January 1977) is a South African architect, known for her work with social and public architecture, particularly healthcare within the context of South Africa. In 2017 she was the world architecture festival winner in the category of health for her Westbury clinic. She later received the 2017 award of excellence from GIFA (Gauteng Institute for Architecture) and the 2018 award of merit from SAIA (South African Institute of Architects). In 2019 her firm won the architecture Masterprize in the category of mixed use. Early life and education Tromp was born in Fishhoek, South Africa. She studied her undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town, and then her master's degree at Harvard University. Lin Huiyin
Lin Huiyin (; known as Phyllis Lin or Lin Whei-yin when in the United States; 10 June 1904 – 1 April 1955) was a Chinese architect and writer. She is known to be the first female architect in modern China and her husband the famed "Father of Modern Chinese Architecture" Liang Sicheng, both of whom worked as founders and faculty in the newly formed Architecture Department of Northeastern University in 1928 and, after 1949, as professors in Tsinghua University in Beijing. Khaleda Ekram (6 August 1950 – 24 May 2016) was a Bangladeshi architect, professor, researcher, and academician. She served as the 12th Vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). She was the former dean of the faculty of architecture and planning and head of the department of architecture, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). She was the first woman to be appointed as the Vice-chancellor of BUET. She held the position since September 2014 until her death in May 2016. Tamar Tumanyan
Tamar Hovhannesi Tumanyan (1907–1989; ) was a Soviet Armenian architect. She was awarded the title, Honored Worker of Culture of the Armenian SSR (1977). Anna Ter-Avetikian
Anna Ter-Avetikian ( hy, Աննա Տեր-Ավետիքյան, russian: Анна Тер Аветикян: 10 October 1908 ( O.S.) / 23 October 1908 (N.S.) – 16 January 2013) was the first Armenian woman to become an architect.
