Évreux-Normandie Station
Évreux-Normandie (until recently: ''Évreux Embranchement'') is the train station for the town of Évreux, Eure, France. It was built by CF de l'Ouest in 1887 (the line opened in 1855). The station was named ''Embranchement'' as it stands at the junction of the lines to Paris and to Rouen. Population history Notable sites and buildings The keep of Brionne was built in the 11th century A.D. and was destroyed in the 18th century. The keep was of a Norman variety because of its square shape. The church of Saint Martin includes a tower that uses Romanesque and Gothic elements. The ground-level floor of the church is of a Romanesque style while the first-story floor is of a Gothic style. The church's door was made in the 18th century A.D.. The Gare de Bernay is the train station for the town of Bernay, Eure. It was built by Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest in 1855. It is situated on the Mantes-la-Jolie–Cherbourg railway. Geography The commune is located in the valley of the Risle on the edge of the forest with which it shares its name. It is crossed by the Paris-Cherbourg railway line, on which it has a station. The Beaumont forest covers four communes; it is the largest private forest in Normandy.
