'' Outnumbered'' is a British television sitcom starring Claire Skinner and Hugh Dennis. It was broadcast on BBC One from 28 August 2007 to 5 March 2014 for five series; four Christmas specials were screened between 2009 and 2016. A total of 35 episodes were produced. ''Outnumbered'' is a British sitcom about the Brockman family, starring Hugh Dennis as the father, Claire Skinner as the mother and their three children played by Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez. There were five series, which aired on BBC One from 2007 to 2014. A Christmas special aired on 26 December 2016. More specials are planned after the success of the 2016 Christmas special. Produced by Hat Trick Productions, ''Outnumbered'' was written, directed and produced by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, although parts of the show are semi-improvised. The adult actors learn the scripts, while the children are given last-minute instructions by the writers instead. The programme has received critical acclaim for its semi-improvisational scripting and realistic portrayal of children and family life. Dorking
Dorking () is a market town in Surrey in South East England, about south of London. It is in Mole Valley District and the council headquarters are to the east of the centre. The High Street runs roughly east–west, parallel to the Pipp Brook and along the northern face of an outcrop of Lower Greensand. The town is surrounded on three sides by the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is close to Box Hill and Leith Hill. ''Mycobacterium bovis'' is a slow-growing (16- to 20-hour generation time) aerobic bacterium and the causative agent of tuberculosis in cattle (known as bovine TB). A garbage disposal unit (also known as a waste disposal unit, garbage disposer, garburator etc.) is a device, usually electrically powered, installed under a kitchen sink between the sink's drain and the trap.
