Lithuania
Lithuania (; lt, Lietuva ), officially the Republic of Lithuania ( lt, Lietuvos Respublika, links=no ), is a country in the Baltic region of Europe. Mantas Jankavičius
Mantas Jankavičius (born 20 May 1980) is a singer and actor. Biography Born in Vilnius,he later moved with his parents to Kėdainiai. With 13 years, he started singing Kėdainiai rock band "Silence Zone". At the age of 19 years, he returned to Vilnius and joined in the Vilnius Conservatory, where he learned to play trombone. At the same-time he was an active singer in a band called La "Vita" and released an album with them. After the departure of one of the members, he decided to start a solo career. Monika Linkytė
Monika Linkytė (born 3 June 1992) is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter. She represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Vaidas Baumila with the song " This Time", placing 18th. She also represented Lithuania in the New Wave 2014 competition and was a finalist on season two of '' Lietuvos Balsas''. She will represent Lithuania again in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Stay". Linkytė has previously attempted to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. Linas And Simona
Linas and Simona was a duo, which represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. With 26 points they placed 16th in the semifinal and could not participate in the final. However, they befriended Ruslana, the winner of the Eurovision 2004, and together recorded ''Fight for Love and Freedom''. This song was released in album ''I Love U'' on 22 July 2005. In 2005 they were representatives of an anti-AIDS campaign in Lithuania. The couple separated in late 2007 ending the duo. Nechama Lifshitz
Nechama Lifshitz (Russian: Нехама Юделевна Лифшиц, Hebrew: נחמה ליפשיץ) (born 1927 in Kaunas, Lithuania, died 2017 in Tel Aviv, Israel) was a Yiddish language and later Hebrew language soprano and art song performer who came to be a key representative of Soviet Jewish culture in the 1950s and 1960s. Her seemingly innocent concerts were the heart and soul of Lipshitz’s contribution to keeping Jewish culture and identity alive in the Communist bloc. Vytautas Kernagis (May 19, 1951 – March 15, 2008) was a Lithuanian singer-songwriter, bard, actor, director, and television announcer. He is considered a pioneer of Lithuanian sung poetry. Career Vytautas Kernagis was born to the family of actors and . He attended M.K.Čiurlionis school (first 3 years) and Vilnius 23rd school. In 1973 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. He was a member of the pioneering Lithuanian big beat bands ''Aisčiai'' (1966–1968) and ''Rupūs miltai'' (1969–1972). Kernagis recorded his first album of sung poetry in 1978. Kernagis also took part in the first Lithuanian rock opera '' Devil's Bride'', first Lithuanian musical ''Ugnies medžioklė su varovais'' (1976), and first Lithuanian musical for a puppet theatre ''Šokantis ir dainuojantis mergaitės vieversėlis''. Rasa Kaušiūtė (born 29 March 1977) is a Lithuanian singer, composer, and vocal teacher (works at Lithuanian Youth Center and prepares children for various song contests). Eglė Jurgaitytė (born 24 January 1998, in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian singer and radio presenter. Jurgaitytė represented Lithuania at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 where she finished in 3rd place.
