List Of Hope
Pervasive Coalition of Reformists: The Second Step ( fa, ائتلاف فراگير اصلاح‌طلبان: گام دوم), named The List of Hope ( fa, لیست امید) by Mohammad Khatami, was the sole coalition and electoral list affiliated with the Iranian reform movement for the 2016 legislative election. The group also endorsed candidates for the 2016 Assembly of Experts election. Reformists backed a list of 236 candidates for the Parliament and 77 for the Assembly of Experts, even though many of them are not reformists but moderate-leaning figures. The coalition includes Council for Coordinating the Reforms Front member groups, National Trust Party (close to Mehdi Karroubi), newly established Union of Islamic Iran People Party, Moderation and Development Party (close to Hassan Rouhani) and the principlist ''Followers of Velayat'' faction led by Ali Larijani. Ali Soufi ( fa, علی صوفی) is an Iranian reformist politician. He held various offices as governors and ministers for three decades during the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. National Trust Party (Iran)
National Trust Party ( fa, حزب اعتماد ملی, Ḥezb-e Eʿtemād-e Mellī, also translated as National Confidence Party) is an Iranian political party based on reformist and populist message. It was established in 2005 by former Parliament speaker Mehdi Karroubi following his defeat in 2005 presidential election. National Trust Party cooperates with the Reformists' Supreme Council for Policymaking. Platform The party has opposed dictating the state religion in Iran and called for an amendment for the constitution of Iran that would limit absolute power of Supreme leader, while endorsing Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist. Ali Ardeshir Larijani ( fa, علی لاریجانی, ; born 3 June 1957) is an Iranian conservative politician, philosopher and former military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Iran from 2008 to 2020. He is currently member of the Expediency Discernment Council.
