Indonesian Rupiah
The rupiah (Currency symbol, symbol: Rp; ISO 4217, currency code: IDR) is the official currency of Indonesia. It is issued and controlled by Bank Indonesia. The name "Rupee, rupiah" is derived from the Sanskrit word for silver, (). Sometimes, Indonesians also informally use the word ("silver" in Indonesian language, Indonesian) in referring to rupiah in coins. ''The Raid'' is a 2011 Indonesian action thriller film written, directed and edited by Gareth Evans. The film stars Iko Uwais, who previously worked with Evans in another action film, ''Merantau'', released in 2009. In the film, an elite squad is tasked to infiltrate a high-rise building run by a ruthless drug lord in the slums of Jakarta; among them is Rama (played by Uwais), a veteran member of the team.
