''Close'' is a 2019 British action thriller film directed by Vicky Jewson and starring Noomi Rapace. Rapace's character is based on that of Jacquie Davis, one of the world's leading female bodyguards, whose clients have included J. K. Rowling, Nicole Kidman and members of the British royal family. Lorn Alexander Macdonald (born 10 September 1992) is a Scottish actor and director. Born in Kirkcaldy, he studied acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Laura Fraser (born 24 July 1975) is a Scottish actress. She has played Door in the urban fantasy series ''Neverwhere'', Kate in the film ''A Knight's Tale'', Cat MacKenzie in the BBC Three drama series ''Lip Service'' and Lydia Rodarte-Quayle in the AMC crime drama series ''Breaking Bad'' and its spin-off ''Better Call Saul''. ''Beats'' is a 2019 British drama film directed Brian Welsh. It was based upon a play of the same name by Kieran Hurley, who adapted the screenplay with Welsh; Steven Soderbergh acts as an executive producer. The plot follows a pair of teenage friends in 1994 Scotland who try and sneak into an illegal rave party. The film was released in the United Kingdom on 17 May 2019. Premise The film is set in 1994 in Livingston, Scotland, against the backdrop of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, which effectively banned outdoor rave parties across the whole of the UK. Kerry Norton (born 11 October 1972 in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, England) is a British actress and singer. Early life Kerry was born and brought up in her hometown of Sunbury-on-Thames. Sacha Polak (born 1982) is a Dutch film director. Career In 2012 Polak's feature film debut ''Hemel'' played at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival. ''Dirty God'' is a 2019 internationally co-produced Drama (film and television), drama film, film director, directed and screenwriter, co-written by Sacha Polak. The film marks the English language debut by Polak, and also marks the feature film debut of actress Vicky Knight. Actress Vicky Knight was chosen to play the lead role from auditions of burn victim, burn survivors.
