A-Game
A-Game is a hip-hop duo from Toronto, Ontario, made up of identical twins, Rommel Hinds-Grannun and Robert Hinds-Grannun, who also go by the stage name ''Nova and Chase''. The duo began their career with the independent label T.A.G. (also known as The Armada Group) and are most notable for their street singles "Go Head Shawty", and "Airplanes", both of which were produced by T-Minus. In 2006, they released their independent debut EP ''The World Is Yours'', and shot a video, "The Preparation", featuring Kim Davis. Their singles "Watchu Sayin'" and "Oh My" reached number one on Flow 93.5's Mega City Countdown. The group are also featured in the song and video for "Infamous" by Toronto-based electronicore band Abandon All Ships. Afrodizz is an eight-member afrobeat/afrofunk band from Montreal. African Guitar Summit
African Guitar Summit is a group of nine Canadian musicians, all of African origin, who perform traditional songs from their native countries. History The African Guitar Summit was organized in Toronto as part of a performance project for CBC Radio's ''On Stage'' program. Musicians were, from Guinea, guitarist Alpha Yaya DialloDavid Dacks"Alpha Yaya Diallo" ''Exclaim!'', June 27, 2010. and on balafon Naby Camara. From Ghana, guitarist Pa Joe, singer Theo Yaw Boakye, and drummer Kofi Ackah took part. Aerial (Canadian Band)
Aerial was a Canadians, Canadian pop and rock band from Toronto, active from 1973 to 1981. History Saskatchewan natives Brian Meissner and Laurie Currie originally found notoriety in the Winnipeg showband Sugar & Spice. By 1972, the band had changed its name to Spice (Canadian band), Spice and relocated to Toronto. When Spice broke up, Meissner and Currie launched a The Beatles, Beatles tribute act called Liverpool, with Miessner on bass and lead vocals, Currie on vocals and drums, David Moyles on guitar, and Rick Pearson on vocals and guitar. Adventure Club
Adventure Club is a Canadian electronic dance music duo composed of Christian Srigley and Leighton James, based out of Montreal, Quebec. The duo began as a hardcore pop-punk band before venturing into electronic dance music in 2011. They are best known for their remixes of "Lullabies" by Yuna and "Crave You" from Flight Facilities. The duo's debut album ''Red // Blue'' was released on 2 December 2016. Adam Waito
Adam and the Amethysts was a Canadian indie rock band formed in Montreal in 2004. The band was fronted by Adam Waito, a former member of Miracle Fortress. The band released two albums and toured mostly around North America. History Waito was born in Manitouwadge, Ontario, raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario and moved to Montreal in the early 2000s. He co-founded Telefauna in 2004, an indie-pop band whose that played the Pop Montreal festival three times. They released ''Their 1st EP'' in 2005 and a single "Under the Underground Water" b/w "Bamboo Shoot" in 2007. Waito launched ''Adam and the Amethysts'' with the release of ''Amethyst Amulet'' on June 10, 2008, on Pome Records. The album was an ode to Waito's home town, referencing 60s pop and Neil Young. The Acorn (band)
The Acorn is the music project of singer-songwriter and musician Rolf-Carlos Klausener formed in Ottawa, Ontario in 2003. Their music spanned numerous genres, from art-folk and indie, to minimal electro and folk-rock, and members played with numerous other bands. Their songs have charted on Canadian campus charts and have been in rotation on CBC Radio 3 and The Verge. History Rolf Klausener, the principal songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, founded the band as a solo project, but was soon joined by guitarist Howie Tsui, bassist Jeff Debutte and drummer Jeffrey Malecki.
