''Toronto Star'', August 27, 1992. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Lucy Di Santo, guitarist Steve Fall, keyboardist Atom Percy, and drummer Tim van de Ven. History Acid Test formed in Toronto in 1990. The group independently released a cassette in 1991 and put out an album, ''Trip on This'' on Eggplant Records in 1992. After Fall was asked to play a role in the 1992 movie '' Highway 61'', directed by Bruce McDonald, the group composed two tracks on the movie's soundtrack ("Mr. Skin" and "Dance"). Sire Records (Warner Music Group) signed the band in 1993, they released the album ''Drop'' that year and performed in the US.In addition to regular band members, ''Drop'' also featured Geoff Bennett (percussion) and Jeff Dalziel (programming). The Sugarcubes ( Icelandic: Sykurmolarnir) were an Icelandic alternative rock band from Reykjavík formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. The Ocean Blue
The Ocean Blue is an American indie pop band formed in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1986. Its original members included David Schelzel on lead vocals/guitar, Steve Lau on keyboards/saxophone, Bobby Mittan on bass guitar and Rob Minnig on drums and vocals. Early career The members of the Ocean Blue first met in junior high school. They cut a series of demos while in high school, with Scott Stouffer sitting in on drums. They managed to get two of these earliest recordings, "On Growing Up" and "Wounds of a Friend", included on a local radio station compilation in late 1986. The compilation also included very early work from noted local artists the Innocence Mission, who were friends and mentors of the Ocean Blue.
