Lisa Gwilym
Lisa Gwilym (born 17 June 1975) is a Welsh broadcaster. She is best known as a presenter for BBC Radio Cymru and the Welsh language television channel, S4C. Television Gwilym began her career at S4C in 1998 as a continuity presenter for the ''Planed Plant'' children's strand. In October 2001, she joined the S4C live teen magazine programme ''Uned 5'' (Unit 5) as a presenter. During her time on the show, she took part in the 2003 John Cooper Mini Challenge. She also co-presented a special documentary with then-colleague Gethin Jones from Madagascar. Gwilym quit as presenter in December 2004, but stayed with the programme as a producer until 2006. BBC Radio 1 is a British national radio station owned and operated by the BBC. It specialises in modern popular music and current chart hits throughout the day. Y Felinheli (), formerly known in English as Port Dinorwic, is a village and community beside the Menai Strait ( cy, Y Fenai or ''Afon Menai'') between Bangor and Caernarfon in Gwynedd, northwest Wales. History Toponymy Etymologically, its name comes from the Welsh ''y'' meaning the, ''melin'' meaning mill and ''heli,'' meaning brine/salt-water/sea. An alternative interpretation is from ''Y Felin Heulyn'', "the mill on the River Heulyn", which refers to the river that runs into the village. Denbighshire

Henllan
Henllan is a village and community in Denbighshire, Wales with a population of approximately 750 (OfNS/2004) and lies in the countryside, approximately 2.25 miles (3.5 km) north-west of the walled town of Denbigh. The name is Old Welsh, ''Hên-llan'', meaning "old church-enclosure". The population had increased to 862 at the 2011 census. The Grade I listed country house, Foxhall Newydd, lies to the southeast. The country house retreat Eriviat Hall also lies outside the village. The Llindir Inn, reputed to be haunted, dates to the 13th century. Y Selar Awards
The Y Selar Awards () are awarded annually for the best Welsh language rock and pop music, by the Welsh language music magazine, ''Y Selar''. The awards ceremony is the only one particularly for Welsh language music. Background The awards were first given out in 2010, in ten categories, with voting taking place via the ''Y Selar'' website, until the publication date of the March issue of the magazine. Every February since 2014 the awards event has taken place at a 'live' event at Aberystwyth University, initially in front of an audience of 500, increasing to 700 in 2015. The organisers claimed an audience of 1,000 in February 2016. Nominations are invited until December each year, for the twelve categories, from which a long list is chosen by the awards panel. Alan Thompson (broadcaster)
Alan Thompson (19 July 1963 – 28 September 2017) was a British radio broadcaster, presenting on BBC Radio Wales. He first became involved in music in 1980, when he became the lead singer and songwriter of the band Peppermint Parlour. He had his first encounter with BBC Radio Wales when he dropped off a recording of a song and he was asked to record songs for the station. He later presented the Evening Show for BBC Radio Wales for four years. He died from pneumonia on 28 September 2017 at the age of 54.
