Liphook and Ripsley Cricket Club is a cricket club in England for adults and juniors, and is a member of the Southern Premier Cricket League. The Ripsley House ground is in West Sussex, near the Forest Mere health resort, although Liphook village is actually in Hampshire. New Zealand and Wellington Firebirds wicket keeper Chris Nevin played for four seasons at the club in the late 1990s. Mayu Pasupati is another Firebird player to represent the club. For the 2014 season, Harry Munt was appointed 1st team captain. He has remained as captain until the present day. Southern Premier Cricket League
The Southern Premier Cricket League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in central southern England. The League was founded in 1969 under the name Southern Cricket League, and in 2000 it adopted the name Southern Premier Cricket League when it became an ECB Premier League. The league primarily covers Hampshire, but also has clubs from Dorset, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex, and Wiltshire. In the past there have also been clubs from Berkshire. The league runs a Premier Division, Division One, Division Two and a Division Three. Champneys
Champneys is an English country house and its associated estate near Tring, Hertfordshire. The mansion is run as a destination spa by a business using "Champneys" as the brand name for a group of spa resorts and day spas. Liphook
Liphook is a large village in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 4.1 miles (6.6 km) west of Haslemere, bypassed by the A3 road, and lies on the Hampshire/West Sussex/Surrey borders. It is in the civil parish of Bramshott and Liphook, which also includes Bramshott and Hammer Bottom. Liphook has a railway station, on the Portsmouth Direct Line. Christopher John Nevin (born 3 August 1975) is a former New Zealand cricketer, who played 37 One Day Internationals for New Zealand. Nevin was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy. Mayu Pasupati
Mayu Pasupati (born 5 December 1976) is a cricketer originally from Sri Lanka but who played cricket in New Zealand. A fast-medium bowler, he has played for Wellington and Auckland. He made his first-class debut for Auckland in 1997/98 against Otago. His List-A debut for Auckland came in 1998/99 also against Otago. His Twenty20 debut for Auckland came on 20 January 2006 against Northern Districts. He has also played for Wellington City in the Hawke Cup. He was well known for his acrobatic catches and big-hitting style. In the 2002 State Shield one-day final, which Wellington won, Pasupati caught Aaron Redmond out off the bowling of Mark Jefferson.
