Linea B (metropolitana Di Roma)
Line B is a metro line serving Rome, Italy, and part of the Rome Metro. Despite its name, Line B was the first line to be built in the city. It crosses Rome diagonally from north-east, starting at Rebibbia and at Jonio stations, to south, terminating at Laurentina, in the EUR district. It crosses Line A at Termini station. The line has 26 stations and is shown in blue on Metro maps. Overview Its first service runs at 05:30 and its last at 23:30. From 18 January 2008, the last Friday and Saturday service runs at 1:30. It carries 345,000 passengers a day and runs 377 trains a day, with a peak time frequency of one train every 3 minutes in the shared section and 4,5 minutes in the branches. Termini (Rome Metro)
Termini is an underground station of the Rome Metro. The station was inaugurated on 10 February 1955 as a station on Line B, and later became an interchange with Line A. The station is found in Piazza dei Cinquecento, under the Termini rail terminal. Together, the two stations form the main public transport hub in the city. Colosseo (Rome Metro)
Colosseo is a station on Line B of the Rome Metro. It was opened on 10 February 1955 and is located, as its name suggests, in the Monti rione on via del Colosseo near the Colosseum. The station is currently being expanded to be the new northern terminus of Metro's Line C. Its atrium houses mosaics from the Artemetro Roma Prize. Ponte Mammolo (Rome Metro)
Ponte Mammolo is an above ground station on line B of the Rome Metro in the Ponte Mammolo district of Rome. It is on the road which links Viale Palmiro Togliatti to Via Tiburtina, and nearby is the river Aniene. The line itself opened in 1990 and so and for a long time line B services did not stop at the incomplete station, until the station finally opened in September 1997. At the same time a major terminus for urban and suburban buses (most of which had previously run to and from Rebibbia station) opened here. COTRAL regional blue buses stop at the bus terminal just outside the main entrance of the station, connecting Rome to some important archeological sites such as Hadrian's Villa, Villa d'Este and the town of Tivoli. Quintiliani
Quintiliani is a station on Line B of the Rome Metro. It is located on Via della Pietra Sanguigna and takes its name from the ancient Casale dei Quintiliani, which stood near the station. Other nearby streets are Via delle Cave di Pietralata and Via del Casale Quintiliani. Nearby is the Ospedale Sandro Pertini.
