Line S1 (Suzhou Rail Transit)
Line S1 of Suzhou Rail Transit is an under construction intercity rapid transit line. Running west-east, the line will mainly serve Kunshan city center and connect it to Suzhou Industrial Park in the west and nearby metropolitan Shanghai in the east via a transfer to Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. The line will be the first metro line in downtown Kunshan. Suzhou Rail Transit
Suzhou Rail Transit, also known as Suzhou Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. Line 1 began operation on April 28, 2012. Line 2 opened on December 28, 2013. A further three lines, and an extension of Line 2, were completed between 2016 and 2021, with 3 more lines currently under construction and planned to open by 2024. Upon completion, the system will be about long and have 109 stations. Line 2 Line 2 opened on December 28, 2013. It is a line running generally north–south, from Suzhou North Railway Station in north Xiangcheng District to Baodaiqiao South station close to Precious Belt Bridge located in Wuzhong District. Huaqiao Station (Shanghai Metro)
Huaqiao () is a metro station on Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Guangming Road and Yanhu Avenue in Huaqiao, Kunshan, Jiangsu, it serves as the current western terminus on the branch line of Line 11. Kunshan
Kunshan is a county-level city in southeastern Jiangsu province with Shanghai bordering its eastern border and Suzhou on its western boundary. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Suzhou. Name There is a strong possibility that the name Kunshan is derived from a hill, but which one is controversial. The China–Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (), or Suzhou Industrial Park for short, abbreviated as SIP, is a county-level administrative area located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
