Lindsay Agnew
Lindsay Elizabeth Agnew (born March 31, 1995) is a Canadian retired soccer player who played as a forward for the Canada women's national soccer team and National Women's Soccer League clubs North Carolina Courage, Houston Dash, and Washington Spirit. Early life Born in Kingston, Ontario, Agnew began playing soccer at age four. Her family moved to Syracuse, New York in 2001, and moved again to Columbus, Ohio in 2006. She attended Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio where she played on the varsity soccer team all four years of her high school career. She also played basketball. After helping the team reach the state finals during her junior year, Agnew was named to first team All-Ohio and ESPNHS second team All-American. Agnew played club soccer for Ohio Premier for five years and helped the team win the U-18 ECNL national championship in 2013. Dublin Jerome High School
Dublin Jerome High School is a public high school located in Dublin, Ohio, northwest of Columbus, Ohio. It is the newest of the three high schools in the Dublin City Schools district. Jerome opened for its first year during the 2004–2005 school year. The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup was a tournament during the 2020 National Women's Soccer League season to mark the league's return to action from the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first professional team sports event to return to play in United States. A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia.
