The 2018 NWSL College Draft was the sixth annual meeting of National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchises to select eligible college players. Boston Breakers
The Boston Breakers were an American professional women's soccer club based in the Boston neighborhood of Allston. The team competed in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). They replaced the original Breakers, who competed in the defunct Women's United Soccer Association, as the Boston area's professional women's soccer team. Boston would eventually be awarded Boston Legacy FC in 2023 that will begin play in 2026. Kristie Anne Mewis (born February 25, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for West Ham United of the Women's Super League (WSL) and the United States national team. Early life Mewis grew up in Hanson, Massachusetts, where she attended Whitman-Hanson Regional High School and played on the soccer team. Chicago Stars Football Club is an American professional soccer team based in the Chicago metropolitan area that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league as the Chicago Red Stars, they have played in the NWSL since 2013. The Stars play their home games at SeatGeek Stadium. West Virginia Mountaineers Women's Soccer
The West Virginia Mountaineers are the intercollegiate women's soccer team representing West Virginia University. The Mountaineers compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) as members of the Big 12 Conference. The first team was fielded in 1996. Taylor Lytle
Taylor Marie Lytle (born March 31, 1989) is a former professional soccer player who last played as a midfielder for Utah Royals FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Early life Lytle was raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she attended Las Cruces High School. She helped lead the Las Cruces squad to state championship titles in 2003 and 2005 and was named first team All-District and All-State all four years. Shea Ellese Groom (born March 4, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Chicago Stars FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
