Lindaweni Fanetri
Lindaweni Fanetri (born 18 January 1989) is a former Indonesian badminton player. She played in women's singles. Fanetri is from PB. Suryanaga, a badminton club from Surabaya, the same club with the likes of Sony Dwi Kuncoro, Alvent Yulianto, and Ryan Agung Saputra. Career In 2012 Fanetri managed to become champion in India Grand Prix Gold and runner up at Chinese Taipei and Vietnam Open. In 2015 Fanetri won a bronze medal at 2015 BWF World Championships after losing to Saina Nehwal in the semifinals. In her quarterfinal match, she was down 14–20 in the second game after losing the first game against Tai Tzu-ying of Chinese Taipei. But Lindaweni saved 6 match points and eventually took the second game, 22–20. She won the decider third game to ensure her place in the semifinals. Gelora Bung Karno Sports Palace ( id, Istana Olahraga Gelora Bung Karno, abbreviated as ''Istora''), the formerly name ''Istora Senayan'' is an indoor sporting arena located in Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia. The capacity of the arena after 2018 reopening is 7,166. This arena is usually used for badminton tournaments. Its maiden event was the 1961 Thomas Cup. It was also used during the 1962 Asian Games and was renovated to host the 2018 edition. Its first post-renovation event was the 2018 Indonesia Masters. Saina Nehwal
Saina Nehwal (; born 17 March 1990) is an Indian professional badminton player. A former world no. 1, she has won 24 international titles, which includes ten Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance at London 2012. Nehwal has achieved several milestones in badminton for India. Syed Modi International Badminton Championships
The Syed Modi International Badminton Championships is an international badminton tournament, which is held annually in India. This tournament was introduced to the badminton circuit as a BWF Grand Prix event in 2009. Since then the tournament is being annually held in Lucknow at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium, although it was temporarily shifted to Hyderabad in 2010. In 2011, it was upgraded to the Grand Prix Gold event. Badminton World Federation launched a new event structure in 2017. Rian Agung Saputro (born 25 June 1990) is an Indonesian badminton player. He was partnered with Angga Pratama in men's doubles, but split after the 2014 Asian Games. Saputro was then partnered with Berry Angriawan. They debuted at the 2014 Hong Kong Super Series. They won their first Grand Prix Gold title at the 2015 Indonesian Masters. In 2016, he was paired with former Olympic gold medalist, Hendra Setiawan. Saputro was then paired with Setiawan's former partner, Mohammad Ahsan. Alvent Yulianto Chandra (born 11 July 1980) is a badminton player from Indonesia. Born in Glenmore, Banyuwangi, East Java, he has been playing badminton since he was 10 years old in a club named Suryanaga Gudang Garam Surabaya. Personal life On 16 October 2021, Yulianto married Freeisy Ester Sompie, also an Indonesian badminton player. Their holy matrimony was held at GMIM Sion Tumaluntung, North Minahasa. Sony Dwi Kuncoro (born 7 July 1984) is a badminton singles player from Indonesia. He was the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist, two-time World Championships medalist (silver–2007, bronze–2009) and three-time Asian Champion (2002, 2003, 2005). He reached a career high as world number 3 in 7 October 2004.
