Liga 4 (Georgia)
Liga 4, organized by Georgian Football Federation, is the fourth tier of Georgian football league. It was founded in 2019 as a part of comprehensive reorganization of the league system. Structure and format In 2018, GFF decided to form an additional division between Liga 3 and Regionuli Liga by introducing Liga 4 for the 2019 season. After the first year the top two clubs were promoted to Liga 3 and the bottom two were supposed to be relegated to Regional league. However, in February 2020 the league regulation sustained new changes, which saved the doomed teams from relegation and enlarged the tournament with four more Regionuli Liga clubs. In January 2021, GFF announced that the number of clubs participating in the upcoming season would be increased to twenty, although for the next year they were reduced back to sixteen. FC Skuri Tsalenjikha
FC Skuri, occasionally also spelled as Squri, is a Georgian football club, based in the town of Tsalenjikha. Currently they compete in Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football. History During the late Soviet times, Skuri was mainly a member of the first division of the Georgian domestic league. After the 1990s the team competed for years in Pirveli Liga, the second division of national championship. Skuri suffered a defeat in the 2014–15 fierce survival battle, although still obtained the right to remain in the league after another club was expelled. In 2016, they were defeated in the play-off final and relegated to the third league. A year later Skuri lost another relegation play-off tie and, as a result, had to leave Liga 3 as well. Kvemo Kartli
Kvemo Kartli ( ka, ქვემო ქართლი, az, Aşağı Kartli) or "Lower Kartli", is a historic province and current administrative region (mkhare) in southeastern Georgia. FC Sulori is a Georgian football club based in the town of Vani. They currently take part in Liga 4, the forth tier of Georgian league system. The team has spent two seasons in the top flight. They play their home games at Grigol Nikoleishvili Stadium. History Sulori became champions of the Georgian Soviet league in 1969. This success enabled the club to participate in the Soviet Second Minor league the next year, which they finished in the 10th place among 18 teams. By claiming seven titles within nine years, Sulori became one of the leading members of the republican league in 1980s. In the same period twice in a row they clinched the Georgian Cup as well. FC Shevardeni-1906 Tbilisi is one of the oldest Georgian association football clubs. They play in the Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football from 2023. FC Gardabani
FC Gardabani (Georgian: სკ გარდაბანი) is a Georgian association football club from the city of Gardabani. Within less than a decade since joining Georgian football, Gardabani have had different years from the lowest division to the 2nd tier.
