Lieyu Massacre
The 1987 Lieyu massacre occurred on 7 March 1987, at Donggang Bay, Lieyu, Fujian, Lieyu Island ("Lesser Kinmen" or "Little Quemoy"), Kinmen, Fujian Province, Republic of China, Fujian, Republic of China. ROC military officially denied the massacre, and defined it as an incident of “mistaken killings” (), hence named as the March 7 Incident () or Donggang Incident (). There may have been more than nineteen deaths, including several families of Hoa people, ethnical Chinese Vietnamese.
