Les Dix Commandements (musical)
''Les Dix Commandements'' is a French-language musical comedy written by Élie Chouraqui and Pascal Obispo that premiered in Paris in October 2000. In 2022, the musical is announced to premiere in the English language with an American adaptation by David Serero (starring as Moses) in New York. The U.S. Cast Album Recording's first single "The Maximum Pain" is released. The musical in two acts became the basis of similar musicals elsewhere including Patrick Leonard's film '' The Ten Commandments: The Musical''. Pascal Michel Obispo (; born 8 January 1965) is a French singer-songwriter. Biography Pascal Obispo, son of Max Obispo (a former Bordeaux Girondins football player of Basque origin) and Nicole Guérin (originally from Angers), was born on 8 January 1965 in Bergerac. In 1978, at the age of 13, after the divorce of his parents, he was raised by his mother who decided to settle in Rennes. Sonia Rykiel
Sonia Rykiel (; ; 25 May 1930 – 25 August 2016) was a French fashion designer and writer. She created the Poor Boy Sweater, which was featured on the cover of French ''Elle'' magazine. Her knitwear designs and new fashion techniques led her to be dubbed the "Queen of Knits". The Sonia Rykiel label was founded in 1968, upon the opening of her first store, making clothing, accessories, and fragrances. Rykiel was also a writer, and her first book was published in 1979. In 2012, Rykiel revealed that she was suffering from Parkinson's disease. She died from complications of the disease on 25 August 2016. Kamel Ouali (born 15 December 1971) is a French- Algerian choreographer. Biography Kamel Ouali was born in Paris. He is from an Algerian Kabyle family of twelve children.
