Merwan Rim
Merwan Rim (born 13 July 1977 in Sarcelles, France) is a French actor and singer-songwriter. Biography At the age of 17, Merwan Rim started to learn and instruments as an autodidact. Realizing his gift in musical arts, Merwan decided to become a full-time musician. This decision led him into quitting Paris 13 University where he attended communication studies to enroll in Alice Dona Studios, a performing arts school for future professionals in September 2000. Nine months later, Merwan was cast as ''Ramses'' in the musical '' Les Dix Commandements''. He first was Pow-Wow member Ahmed Mouici's alternate before he took over the role on one year later. In 2004, Merwan enrolled in Elie Chouraqui and Maxime Le Forestier's musical entitled ''Spartacus'' in which he was cast as ''Davids stand-in but he never had the occasion to portray the role. Nevertheless, Merwan avoided a show's being cancelled at the last minute by replacing Pow-Wow member Alain Chennevière (who portrayed ''Cras ... NRJ Music Awards
An NRJ Music Award (commonly abbreviated as an NMA) is an award presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry. The awards ceremony, created in 2000 by NRJ in partnership with the television network TF1, traditionally took place every year in mid-January at Cannes (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France) as the opening of MIDEM (''Marché international de l'édition musicale''). It is now held in the month of November. They give out awards to popular musicians in different categories. The name " NRJ" means "Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes" (new radio of the young). It is a play on words between the pronunciation of the French letters and the French word "énergie" (energy). François De Vendôme, Duc De Beaufort
François de Vendôme, duc de Beaufort (16 January 1616 – 25 June 1669) was the son of César, Duke of Vendôme, and Françoise de Lorraine. He was a prominent figure in the Fronde, and later went on to fight in the Mediterranean. He is sometimes called ''François de Vendôme'', though he was born into the House of Bourbon, Vendôme coming from his father's title of Duke of Vendôme. In March 1665 he led a small fleet which defeated a small Algerian fleet near the Goletta, Tunisia (Action of March 1665). In 1669 he led the newly arrived French troops defending Candia against the Ottoman Turks, and was presumed to have been killed in a night sortie, on 25 June 1669. Plot The play begins with the Fronde against Cardinal Mazarin. Young Louis is the consecrated King at Reims. But his power has been confiscated by his mother, Anne of Austria, and the Cardinal, who doubt his ability to rule France alone. Louis falls in love with Marie Mancini, an Italian emigrant without noble birth, niece of Cardinal Mazarin. To prove himself as a man, the young monarch decides to leave for the war at the head of his armies, and though Marie has a worrying premonition she is unable to stop him. Marilou Bourdon (born September 20, 1990) is a French-Canadian pop singer and cookbook author from Longueuil. Early life Bourdon was born on September 20, 1990. At age 8 she began singing for friends and relatives and by age 10 was already a local success. Her first appearance was at an annual concert show. She was discovered in 2001, when she sang a duet with Natasha St-Pier in a Quebec show called ''Stars à domicile''. She started recording by singing children's songs for TV shows and movies.
