Leodannis Martínez
Leodannis Martínez Palacio (born 29 April 1995) is a Cuban badminton player. In 2014, Martínez placed third at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in the men's doubles and mixed team event. In 2015, he competed at the Pan Am Games in Toronto, Canada. In 2016, he won the Giraldilla International tournament in the men's doubles event partnered with Ernesto Reyes. He claimed 4 medals at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia. Santiago de Cuba is the second-largest city in Cuba and the capital city of Santiago de Cuba Province. It lies in the southeastern area of the island, some southeast of the Cuban capital of Havana. Radio Rebelde
Radio Rebelde (English: Rebel Radio) is a Cuban Spanish-language radio station. It broadcasts 24 hours a day with a varied program of national and international music hits of the moment, news reports and live sport events. The station was set up in 1958 by Che Guevara in the Sierra Maestra region of eastern Cuba, and was designed to broadcast the aims of the 26th of July Movement led by Fidel Castro. Kevin Cordón
Kevin Haroldo Cordón Buezo (born November 28, 1986) is a Guatemalan badminton player. He won two men's singles title at the Pan American Games, four title at the Pan Am Championships (3 in singles and 1 in doubles), and six title at the Central American and Caribbean Games (4 in singles and 2 in doubles). He is a four time Olympian for Guatemala participating at the 2008, 2012, 2016 and the 2020 Olympic Games. Career Born in La Unión, Zacapa, Cordón was named after former England international footballer Kevin Keegan, of whom his father was a fan. Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva is an indoor sporting arena located in Havana, Cuba. Built in 1957, the Coliseum is one of the most important works of Cuban Civil Engineering. It is located at the intersection of Boyeros and Vía Blanca avenues in the Cerro Municipality. The capacity of the arena is for 15,000 spectators. Nyl Yakura
Nyl Kiyoshi Yakura (born 14 February 1993) is a Canadian badminton player. He captured two gold medals at the Pan American Games, winning the men's doubles title in 2019 and 2023, and also a silver in the mixed doubles in 2019. Yakura, who grew up in Pickering, currently lives in Toronto and trains at the KC Badminton Club in Markham. Career Yakura competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
